
Nicky is a full time Executive and Leadership Coach with eleven years coaching experience.
She has a Coaching Consultancy and has spent the last six years coaching senior leaders to surface their best thinking, to be the leader they want to be and the leader others want to follow.
Prior to becoming a coach Nicky had 25 years’ experience of working in cognitive behaviour change with an academic background rooted in Psychology, Sociology and Criminology. The common theme throughout has been collaborative working to achieve identified outcomes.
Nicky is a qualified, ILM Level 7 Executive Coach, an ILM Workplace Coach and an ABNLP Certified NLP Coach and NLP Practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming) which provides a communication specialism to her coaching.
Nicky’s coaching is also informed by her Lumina Spark Practitioner status. This provides a framework for identifying a client’s personal strengths and how to improve them so people can be their best personally and professionally.
She is a member of the coaching professional body EMCC (European and Mentoring Coaching Council) and demonstrates ongoing Continual Professional Development to maintain current and relevant standards and thinking in the profession.
Nicky coaches’ individuals and teams in a variety of sectors and industries and consistently works with leaders in highly pressurised diverse environments, namely one to one coaching for Senior Leadership Teams (SLTs) in the education sector, SLTs in Her Majesty’s Prison Estates and coaches’ doctors and dentists in the NHS. She works with SLTs in Third Sector not for profit organisations and with business owners to grow leadership capacity, team capacity and ensure organisational growth and change.
As a self-employed coach Nicky works with individuals and teams to enhance their personal leadership capability, their presence and their confidence to lead. Her coaching supports leaders to self-reflect, to develop their skills and to be confident in their leadership style.
Nicky supports organsiations to develop coaching cultures by creating and facilitating bespoke coaching workshops, for example, Coaching Skills for Leaders. To develop experiential coaching experience, she provides group coaching to teams to support organisational outcomes, productivity and staff wellbeing.
Nicky’s commitment to social value and giving back is delivered through both her business and her voluntary roles:
- Trustee at YMCA Lincolnshire and Chair of People, Culture and Diversity Committee.
- Volunteer Charity Co-ordinator for Lincoln Business Club.
- Pro bono coaching to the NHS once a month to the NHS East Midlands Leadership Academy, coaching senior clinicians wishing to transition to Senior Executive roles.
